Watch the video of improvising a rock guitar piece titled 'Turbine Blossoms' played fingerstyle on the Schecter S-1. The video starts clean with a Roland JC tone, with some flanging going on. The Maxon OOD-9 overdrive kicks it in the butt, but near the end this drive gets paired with a VOX AC30 kind of sound, without the flanger. While the thick harmonic content of distortion prevents me from playing the same polyphonic style I do with cleaner tones, I tried to color it with skipping to lower octaves every now and then.
